Domaine des Grands-Montets

Argentière.

Are you ready for this?

Les Grands Montets is considered by many to be quite simply the best, an enormous off piste play area interspersed with red and black runs with a little corner of some fairly challenging blue runs. As usual amazing views...
Stupendous skiing, where the reputation of Chamonix's 'steep and deep' is primarily forged.

Three cable cars and 6 chair lifts serve this immense area, mostly North facing. The Grands Montets Cable car will take you at extra charge to 3275m. From here you can ski the 8km distance and 2100m of height drop back to Argentière, off piste and/or on black and red runs.

Les Grands Montets is 'Grand' in what ever sense you want to look at it.
6 black runs,
4 red runs,

4 blue runs
will provide you with some exhilarating sensations

whether in powder, moguls, crud, ice or sublimely bashed snow.
Be prepared to experience some unforgetable moments!

Les Grands Montets also has it's own half pipe.

Four mountain restaurants, the small buvette at the top station, two large restaurants at the mid station and the Le Chalet Refuge for those in the know. There are a couple more down the bottom. These may help keep energy levels up.

The Chosalets beginners area at the entrance to Les Grands Montets parking has
3 green runs.
